Course Changes: Timing, Selection, and Application Periods

For the 2026 academic year in the Faculty of Science and Technology at Saitama Hatoyama Campus, this page explains when main-course and sub-course changes are possible, how transfers are handled, and where to find the application schedule.

When You Can Change Your Main or Sub-Course

A main-course change is possible at the end of the first semester of the second year. It is not possible at the end of the second semester of the second year or in the third year and later. A sub-course change is possible both at the end of the first semester and at the end of the second semester of the second year. Sub-course changes are not possible in the third year or later.

Capacity and Selection for Course Transfers

A transfer associated with course selection or a course change may be permitted only when there is available capacity and after a selection process.

Application Period

The application period for a course change may be changed. Detailed dates are announced on UNIPA and must be checked there.
