How Transfer and Readmission Credits Are Counted

Recognized credits for specialized education subjects are recorded using the credit value assigned by the destination faculty or institution. The applicable evaluation labels depend on the readmission rules.

Transfer to the System Design and Technology Faculty

For students transferring to the System Design and Technology Faculty at Tokyo Senju Campus in the 2026 academic year, specialized education subjects are recognized using the credit value assigned by the institution receiving the transfer.

Readmission to Applicable Faculties

For readmission in the 2025 academic year to the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Future Science, or Faculty of System Design and Technology, recognized credits for specialized education subjects use the credit value assigned by the destination faculty, regardless of the designated year. The evaluation is recorded as RS, RA, RB, or RC. The receiving department may decide to use RN.

Transfer to the Second Division of the Faculty of Engineering

For students transferring to the Second Division of the Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus in the 2026 academic year, the number of recognized credits for specialized education subjects is based on the credit value assigned by the destination institution.
