Answer Sheet Requirements and Leaving an Exam Early

Learn what identification details must be written on an answer sheet and what to do if you stop or withdraw from an examination before it ends.

Information required on every answer sheet

Write your year, department, student identification number, and name on the answer sheet. An answer sheet without this information is invalid.

If you stop or withdraw before the exam ends

Even if you withdraw from or stop taking an examination partway through, write your year, department, student identification number, and name on the answer sheet and submit it. For examinations covered by the Faculty of Engineering, Second Division at Tokyo Senju Campus in academic year 2026, the answer sheet for the subject you took cannot be taken home.
