Technical College Courses Eligible for Credit Recognition

For the 2026 academic year at Tokyo Senju Campus, courses completed at a technical college are generally eligible for recognition only if they were taken in the fourth or fifth year. A separate condition applies when seeking recognition for teacher certification requirements.

Eligible course years

For the Faculty of Future Science and the Faculty of System Design Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus, courses completed at a technical college are generally limited to fourth- and fifth-year courses for credit recognition.

Faculty of Engineering, Division II

For the Faculty of Engineering, Division II at Tokyo Senju Campus, courses completed at a technical college are generally eligible for recognition only when they were taken in the fourth or fifth year. If you wish to have previously earned credits recognized as courses required for teacher certification, confirmation by the teacher-training course is required. Contact the Teacher-Training Course representative at the Academic Affairs section of the Tokyo Senju Campus office promptly.
