Credit Recognition After Readmission

This page explains how engineering basics and specialist education courses are recognized after readmission.

Engineering Basics Courses

For readmission to the Faculty of Engineering, the School of Science and Technology, or the School of System Design and Technology, engineering basics courses are recognized through course correspondence. This applies to workshops, mathematics, natural science and technology, and information courses.

Specialist Education Courses

Specialist education courses are recognized through course correspondence. If course correspondence cannot be established, the department to which you are readmitted may recognize the course comprehensively. Recognized courses count toward the destination programme's credits regardless of the year to which the course is assigned. Grades are evaluated as RS, RA, RB, or RC; the destination department may instead evaluate them as RN.
