Checking Course Timetable Overlaps

Course registration rules for timetable conflicts, including travel time between classes at different faculties or universities.

Courses with the Same Class Slot

For the 2026 academic year at the Saitama Hatoyama Campus in the School of Science and Technology, you generally cannot register for courses assigned to the same term, day of the week, and class period.

Allowing for Travel Time

For the 2025 academic year at the Saitama Hatoyama Campus in the School of Science and Technology, make sure courses do not overlap in their class periods with other courses. When a course is held at another university or in another faculty, include the time needed to travel when checking whether it overlaps with a class in your own faculty.
