Submitting an absence notice at the Saitama Hatoyama Campus
For the 2026 academic year in the School of Science and Technology at the Saitama Hatoyama Campus, the procedure depends on the number of consecutive days absent. For six days or fewer, complete and seal the student section. The guarantor section does not need to be completed or sealed, and the notice is submitted to the instructor responsible for each course. For seven or more consecutive days, complete and seal both the student section and the guarantor section. Submit the notice to the Academic Affairs counter.
When an absence notice may be submitted
In the 2026 academic year, students in the School of Engineering, Evening Division, at the Tokyo Senju Campus who were unavoidably absent because of bereavement, illness or injury, extracurricular activities, or similar reasons are subject to the procedure for submitting an absence notice and explaining the reason for the absence.
