Tuition and Fee Payment Deadlines

Academic Year 2026 Deadlines

For new students in the Faculty of Science and Engineering and the Faculty of Future Science, first-semester tuition is paid during the admission procedures. Second-semester tuition is due by the end of October, and the payment form is sent in late July. The same arrangement applies to new students in the Faculty of System Design and Technology at Tokyo Senju Campus.

For continuing students in the Faculty of Science and Engineering, first-semester tuition is due by the end of April and second-semester tuition by the end of October. The two payment forms for the full year are sent in early April.

A published rule also states that, in the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Division II, Faculty of Future Science, and Faculty of System Design and Technology, failure to pay first-semester tuition by the end of July or second-semester tuition by the end of January is subject to dismissal from the university register.

Academic Year 2025 Deadlines and Non-Payment Consequences

For students other than new students in the Faculty of Engineering, Division II, first-semester tuition is due on June 10 and second-semester tuition is due on November 10.

A separate published rule states that, in the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Division II, Faculty of Future Science, and Faculty of System Design and Technology, first-semester fees must be paid by the end of July and second-semester fees by the end of January. Failure to meet either deadline is a ground for dismissal from the university register.

For students other than new students in the Faculty of Future Science, another published schedule gives deadlines of the end of April for the first semester and the end of October for the second semester. The two payment forms for the year are sent in early April. These published deadline statements apply to the scopes specified above.

General Payment Requirements

Tuition and other fees must be paid by the prescribed deadlines. If a payment deadline falls on a financial institution holiday, the deadline becomes the next business day.
