Tuition When Returning from Leave

This page explains which tuition amount applies when you return from leave, when payment is due, and whether tuition deferral is available.

Tuition amount and payment deadline

For the 2025 academic year, students returning to the Saitama Hatoyama Campus Faculty of Science and Engineering must pay the regular tuition amount for the standard advancement year corresponding to that academic year. Tuition must be paid by the payment deadline for the semester in which you wish to return. A tuition deferral procedure, meaning an extension of the payment deadline, is not available for the semester in which you return. For the Tokyo Senju Campus Faculty of Engineering, Second Division, tuition deferral is also not available for the semester in which you return.
