Class Start Dates by Semester
This page lists class start dates for the 2025 and 2026 academic years by campus and faculty.
2025 academic year: Future Science Faculty, Tokyo Senju Campus
First-semester and first-half-semester classes begin on April 11, 2025. The only Saturday classes on April 12 use online lectures; see the syllabus for details. First-semester second-half classes begin on June 4, 2025.
2026 academic year: Faculty of Engineering, Tokyo Senju Campus
Second-semester and second-half-semester classes begin on September 12, 2026. Classes held jointly with the Faculty of Engineering's night division are conducted on demand; see the syllabus for details.
2026 academic year: School of Science and Technology, Saitama Hatoyama Campus
Second-semester classes begin on September 12, 2026. First-semester grades are announced on September 1. September 11 is the university anniversary holiday.
