Designated holidays in 2025

For the 2025 academic year, closure days include Sundays, national holidays established under the Act on National Holidays, the University Foundation Day on September 11, summer recess, winter recess, and spring recess. This applies to the System Design and Technology Faculty and the School of Future Science at the Tokyo Senju Campus. The same designated closure categories apply to the Faculty of Engineering, Second Division, at the Tokyo Senju Campus.

Specific closure dates in 2026

For the Faculty of Engineering at the Tokyo Senju Campus in 2026, May 1 is a substitute closure for April 29, and October 2 is a substitute closure for September 21. The university-wide closure period is August 7–17, 2026. Within this period, August 7 is a substitute closure for July 20, and August 11 is Mountain Day.
