Responsibility for Damage to University Facilities and Equipment

Students and student organizations may be responsible for repairing or compensating for damage or soiling to university facilities and equipment, except when the damage occurs during proper use as part of a legitimate act.

System Design and Engineering Faculty

For the 2025 academic year at Tokyo Senju Campus, a student organization or individual must repair the damage or compensate for it unless the damage occurred during proper use and resulted from a legitimate act.

Faculty of Engineering

For the 2025 academic year at Tokyo Senju Campus, when a student organization or individual damages or soils university facilities, equipment, or similar property, that organization or individual must repair the damage or compensate for it. This does not apply when the damage occurred during proper use as part of a legitimate act.
