Weather-Related Class Cancellations
Classes may be cancelled if weather conditions worsen, even when no storm warning is in effect. The information provided and the applicable communication channels depend on the campus, faculty, and academic year.
Classes May Be Cancelled Without a Storm Warning
For the 2025 academic year at Tokyo Senju Campus, classes in the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Engineering (Second Division) may be cancelled if weather conditions change, even when no storm warning or strong-wind warning has been issued.
The same possibility applies in the 2025 academic year to the Faculty of Future Science, and in the 2026 academic year to the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Future Science, and the Faculty of Science and Technology at Hatoyama Campus. For the 2026 Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Future Science, students must check information announced by the university.
If a Storm Warning Is Issued After Classes Begin
