Cancellation, make-up class, and classroom-change notices

For the Faculty of System Design and Technology at Tokyo Senju Campus in academic year 2026, notices about cancelled classes, make-up classes, and classroom changes are posted under the notice category “Class Cancellation, Make-up Classes, and Classroom Changes.” For the Second Division of the Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus in academic year 2025, cancelled classes are generally announced on UNIPA. For the Faculty of Science and Technology at Saitama Hatoyama Campus in academic year 2025, when the instructor cannot hold a class for an unavoidable reason, the class is cancelled and the notice is sent through UNIPA or similar channels.

Weather-related and emergency class arrangements

For the Faculty of System Design and Technology at Tokyo Senju Campus in academic year 2025, a class may be cancelled in response to changing weather conditions even when no storm warning has been issued. Students must check information announced by the university about whether classes will be held. The same requirement applies to students in the Faculty of Science at Tokyo Senju Campus in academic year 2025. For the Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus in academic year 2025, if a storm warning is issued after classes have started, information about class arrangements is issued through campus announcements, the portal site, and email. Depending on the circumstances of another emergency, the university may take separate measures notwithstanding the preceding rules.
