Study-Abroad Period and Duration

Study abroad is generally planned for one year, with a shorter stay specially permitted in certain cases for the 2026 Future Science Faculty scope.

Standard one-year period

For the 2025 academic year at Tokyo Senju Campus, the study-abroad period is one year in principle for both the Faculty of Future Science and the Faculty of Engineering.

Shorter stays in the 2026 academic year

For the 2026 academic year at Tokyo Senju Campus in the Faculty of Future Science, the study-abroad period is one year in principle. However, a stay of less than one year may be specially permitted for short-term study at a university or similar institution approved by the university.
