Using Software on Personal Computers

Software may be used on student-owned computers when permitted by the university’s license arrangements. All software use must remain within the authorized license terms.

Software for Student-Owned Computers

For the 2026 academic year, students in the Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus may use some software on student-owned computers, depending on the license arrangements contracted by the university.

Complying with Software Licenses

For the 2025 academic year, students in the Second Division of the Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus must not illegally copy copyrighted works or improperly use illegally copied works. Even software purchased legally must not be used beyond the scope of its authorized license, as this constitutes improper use.
