After-Hours Facility Access and Staying Procedures

Rules for staying in laboratories and other facilities outside opening hours differ by campus, faculty, and academic year.

2025: Faculty of Engineering, Division II at Tokyo Senju Campus

If you need to stay in a laboratory or similar facility outside opening hours for an unavoidable reason, such as graduation research, you must inform your supervising faculty member in advance. Staying after opening hours is permitted only when approval has been obtained.

2026: Faculty of Future Science at Tokyo Senju Campus

Staying in a laboratory or similar facility outside opening hours is permitted only when approval has been obtained. When approval is granted, your supervising faculty member sets the reservation for locking and unlocking the relevant facility.

2026: Faculty of Science and Technology at Saitama Hatoyama Campus

Staying in facilities outside opening hours for any reason other than a regular curricular class is not permitted.
