Following Copyright Rules When Copying or Using Materials

This page explains the restrictions on copying and using copyrighted works, including software, and identifies who is responsible for copying library materials.

Do Not Copy or Use Materials Without Authorization

For the 2025 academic year at Tokyo Senju Campus in the Faculty of Engineering, do not illegally copy copyrighted works or improperly use works that have been illegally copied. This also applies to software: even software purchased legally must not be used beyond the scope of its authorized license.

Responsibility for Copying Library Materials

For the 2025 academic year at Saitama Hatoyama Campus in the School of Science and Technology, the user bears full legal responsibility under copyright law for copying library materials.
