Academic Improvement Interview Guidance

This page explains the purpose of interview guidance and the criteria used to identify students for support.

Who May Be Selected for Interview Guidance

Interview guidance is provided to support students who need to improve their learning activities, including students experiencing poor academic performance or low motivation to study. Students are selected when they meet any of the following criteria: a GPA below 1.1 in the previous semester; for first-year students in the first semester, unreported absence for one month or longer without a valid reason; or, for first-year students in the first semester, zero registered credits.
