Early Graduation Eligibility Requirements

This page explains the academic, credit, GPA, approval, and graduate-school progression conditions for early graduation, with requirements distinguished by faculty and academic year.

Core conditions and graduation timing

Early graduation is intended for students who plan to proceed to graduate school. In the Faculty of Engineering, the system may allow exceptionally high-achieving students to graduate after three years if the stated conditions are met. For the Faculty of Future Science, students may graduate after three years or three and a half years by aiming to graduate at the end of the second semester of the third year or at the end of the first semester of the fourth year. The fourth-year-first-semester option does not apply to Architecture students. Progression to Tokyo Denki University's graduate school is a prerequisite for this Faculty of Future Science early-graduation route.
