Natural Class Cancellation Rules

This page explains when a class is treated as naturally cancelled and when it may still be held under special instructions.

When a class is naturally cancelled

For the 2026 academic year at Tokyo Senju Campus in the School of System Design and Technology, a class is treated as naturally cancelled when no cancellation notice has been posted and the instructor cannot start the class for an unavoidable reason even after 30 minutes have passed from the scheduled start time.

Classes held under special instructions

For the 2026 academic year at Saitama Hatoyama Campus in the School of Science and Technology, a class may still be held under special instructions even when it meets the conditions for natural cancellation and more than 30 minutes have passed.
