Alternative Credit Requirements for the High School First-Class Industrial Teaching License

Credits Required Under the Interim Substitution Route

Under the cited interim substitution provision for the High School First-Class Industrial Teaching License, you may qualify without earning credits in subject teaching-method courses or courses covering the basic understanding of education and related areas. To use this route, you must earn at least 2 credits in each course prescribed in Article 66-6 of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Education Personnel Certification Act, 2 credits in Vocational Guidance, 2 credits in Introduction to Industrial Technology, and all other courses containing general and comprehensive content. You must also earn at least 59 credits in courses concerning specialized subject matters related to the subject.
