Conditions for Copying Library Materials

For the 2025 Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus, library copies under the stated Copyright Act conditions must meet specific requirements.

Requirements for a Library Copy

As a general rule, permission from the copyright holder is required to copy a work protected by copyright. Under the stated library-copying conditions in Article 31(1)(i) of the Copyright Act, the copy must be for research, must reproduce only part of the work, and must be limited to one copy per person.
