Early Graduation Routes and Eligibility

This page explains the available early graduation routes and the minimum enrollment and academic requirements that apply in different faculties and academic years.

Available route in the Architecture Department

In the 2026 academic year, students in the Architecture Department of the Future Science Faculty at Tokyo Senju Campus may use only the three-year early graduation route. The three-and-a-half-year route is not available to students in this department.

Future Science Faculty eligibility

In the 2025 academic year, exceptionally high-achieving students in the Future Science Faculty who plan to enter the University's graduate school may graduate after three years or three and a half years of enrollment, subject to the applicable conditions. One stated requirement is that the student must have been enrolled for at least three years.

System Design and Engineering Faculty requirement

In the 2026 academic year, the University separately provides for graduation after at least three years of enrollment, or for a person specified by the Minister as equivalent, when the University recognizes that the student has earned the credits it prescribes as graduation requirements with excellent grades.
