When Social Adult Course Status Is Lost

This page explains the circumstances under which a student may lose Social Adult Course student status, including changes in employment and a faculty council determination.

2025: Tokyo Senju Campus, Faculty of Engineering (Evening Division)

A student who entered the Social Adult Course under the qualification specified in Article 4, paragraph 1, item 2 loses Social Adult Course student status if all of the following conditions apply: the student leaves a company or other organization before completing three years of work experience, has no intention of continuing to work for another company or organization, and is under 25 years of age. A student also loses this status if the faculty council determines that the student is unsuitable to remain a Social Adult Course student.

2026: Tokyo Senju Campus, Faculty of Engineering

A student who entered the Social Adult Course under the qualification specified in Article 4, paragraph 1, item 2 loses Social Adult Course student status if all of the following conditions apply: the student leaves a company or other organization before completing three years of work experience, has no intention of continuing to work for another company or organization, and is under 25 years of age. A student also loses this status if the faculty council determines that the student is unsuitable to remain a Social Adult Course student.
