Fees During a Leave of Absence

Students on leave of absence must pay an enrollment fee each semester. The amount is generally ¥60,000, with a ¥30,000 rate for the Faculty of Engineering, Division II.

Enrollment fee while on leave

Students on leave of absence generally pay an enrollment fee of ¥60,000 per semester. This applies to the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Faculty of Future Science, and Faculty of System Design and Technology, as well as the Faculty of Engineering. Students in the Faculty of Engineering, Division II pay ¥30,000 per semester instead.

For the 2025 academic year, a student on leave in the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Saitama Hatoyama Campus pays ¥60,000 per semester, and tuition is not required. The Faculty of Future Science also has a ¥60,000-per-semester enrollment fee for the 2025 and 2026 academic years. For the 2026 academic year, the Faculty of System Design and Technology has a ¥60,000-per-semester enrollment fee.
