Eligibility for Graduation Assessment

These requirements explain when students can be considered for graduation, including fourth-year enrollment, leave-of-absence status, and tuition payment status. The applicable conditions differ by academic year, campus, and faculty.

2025: Faculty of Engineering, Tokyo Senju Campus

Graduation assessment is conducted for fourth-year students who have been enrolled in the fourth year for a cumulative total of at least 12 months, excluding periods of leave of absence. Students must also not be on leave of absence at the year-end assessment.

2025: Faculty of Science and Technology, Saitama Hatoyama Campus

Graduation adjudication is conducted for fourth-year students who have been enrolled in the fourth year for at least 12 months in total, excluding periods of leave of absence. Students must not be on leave of absence at the academic-year-end adjudication.

2026: Faculty of Science and Technology, Saitama Hatoyama Campus

Graduation decisions are made for fourth-year students who have been enrolled in the fourth year for at least 12 months in total, excluding periods of leave of absence. The student must not be on leave of absence at the year-end decision.

2025: Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology, Tokyo Senju Campus

A student cannot graduate if, at the graduation decision in the following March, tuition fees remain unpaid or the student is on leave of absence.

2025: School of System Design and Technology, Tokyo Senju Campus

The student must not be on leave of absence at the time of the graduation decision.
