Graduation Assessment After Delayed Graduation
This page explains when graduation may be approved after delayed graduation, including first-semester assessment, required requests, and the timing of a later graduation decision.
Graduation at the End of the Following First Semester
For fourth-year students at the Saitama Hatoyama Campus in the Faculty of Science and Technology who repeat a year because they have not completed the graduation requirements, graduation may be approved at the end of the first semester of the following academic year if all graduation requirements are completed during that semester.
Required Request for Midyear Graduation
For the same Saitama Hatoyama Campus and Faculty of Science and Technology scope, a required request must be made for graduation at the end of the first semester. Without that request, graduation will take place at the end of the academic year even if the graduation requirements have been completed. The graduation requirements must also be satisfied for the year-end graduation decision.
First-Semester Evaluation of an Annual Course
At the Tokyo Senju Campus in the Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology, a student whose graduation was postponed in the previous year and who retakes an annual course must take a further action concerning that course if they wish to graduate at the end of the first semester. The available information does not specify what that action is.
Later Graduation Decision
At the Tokyo Senju Campus in the Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology, a graduation decision is made again in March of the following year.
