Examination Invalidation After Misconduct
The possible invalidation of examinations and coursework differs by faculty, campus, and academic year.
Possible invalidation measures
For the Faculty of Future Science in the 2025 academic year, the Faculty of System Design Engineering in the 2025 academic year, and the Faculty of Engineering (Second Division) in the 2026 academic year, one possible measure is to invalidate the examination connected with the misconduct. Another possible measure is to invalidate some or all end-of-semester examinations in the semester to which that examination belongs.
Faculty of Future Science: 2026 academic year
For students who commit misconduct, all subjects in which an academic achievement examination was conducted after the announcement of the academic achievement examination guidelines are invalidated. This includes reports and similar coursework.
Faculty of Science and Technology: 2026 academic year
A student who commits misconduct such as cheating is ordered to leave the examination room. As a general rule, all examinations in that semester are invalidated.
